4,500 Refugees Registered In Presevo (Serbia) By Mid-Afternoon

PRESEVO – Around 4,500 men, women and children from the Near East have been registered at the reception center in the southern Serbia town of Presevo, on the border with Macedonia, by-mid-afternoon Thursday.

Serbia’s Labor and Social Policy Minister Aleksandar Vulin said that 3,000 more refugees were expected to pass through the reception center before the end of the day.

Refugees are also, albeit in far smaller numbers, arriving in Serbia through the border with Bulgaria, mostly in the municipalities of Dimitrovgrad, Negotin, Bosilegrad and Zajecar.
